The Position:
Riverside Christian School (RSCS) is located in Saskatoon, the largest city in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan with the majestic South Saskatchewan River running through the center of this “Paris of the Prairies” as it is sometimes called.
RSCS, for the 2023/2024 school year, needs an energetic teacher to join the current faculty. Candidates need the dedication and understanding to teach middle to uppers elementary school students and inspire them to choose Christ as their Savior and Lord. Candidates should be strong in teaching the middle and upper grades, strong in teaching a variety of subjects, with special emphasis in Mathematics & Science, and have proficiency with technology, experience with working with people from a wide range of ethnic diversities, sets high standards for excellence for students to attain, and the flexibility and collaboration skills needed as a team player – willing to support and assist faculty and administration alike. RSCS is provincially funded, supported by 4 constituent churches, and boasts of supportive working conditions.
The Ideal Candidate Skills and Qualifications for Employment:
- Is an active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, modeling Christianity, and upholding the faith and values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
- A current Canadian Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Has a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education
- Has current SDA Denominational Certification and/or qualifies in obtaining one.
- Is in possession of a Saskatchewan Provincial Teacher Certification and/or qualifies in obtaining one.
- Documented ability to work legally in a school in Canada - A Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or has a Current Work Permit/Visa valid for a minimum of 3 or more years
- Models excellence in teaching through innovation (STEM, STEAM, Research-Based, multigrade etc.)

The Position:
Prairie Central Adventist Academy is looking for a full time Grades 5-12 Teacher for the 2023-2024 school year to teach Music, Fine Arts & Humanities along with being comfortable teaching Physical Education.
Candidate needs the energy, dedication and understanding to teach middle school to high school students and inspire them to choose Christ as their Savior and Lord. The candidate should be strong in teaching the middle grades and have proficiency with technology, experience with working with people from a wide range of ethnic diversities, and the flexibility and collaboration skills needed as a team player and the willingness to support and assist faculty and administration alike.
PCAA is the largest school in the Manitoba-Saskatchewan Nunavut Conference, located in beautiful Winnipeg, Manitoba. In 2024 PCAA will be celebrating 100 years of educating K-12 student in Winnipeg. The school is provincially funded, supported by 8 constituent churches, and boasts supportive working conditions.
The Ideal Candidate Skills and Specific Responsibilities will include:
- Active membership of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, modeling Christianity and upholding the faith and values of the Seventh-day Adventist Church

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Education
